Manual picking depends on bin dimensions, access frequency and replenishment. Compare cartons, individual parts and archive units: equal mass does not imply the same shelving layout.
Separate reserve stock from picking stock. For frequent orders, assess walking distance and replenishment without interrupting picking; for infrequent access, focus on floor utilisation.

A retail-and-storage row: lower levels for manual picking and display, with pallet reserve above.

Wide-span shelf levels for manually picked cartons, components and heavy piece goods.

Roller tracks move cartons and trays FIFO from the replenishment face to the picking face.

Stationary or mobile storage for documents, books, maps and archive boxes.

Shelving or archive rows on manual, mechanical or powered bases sharing an active aisle.
When replenishment arrives in large batches but orders contain small quantities. Separate zones align containers, addressing and routes; size them using actual throughput.
Match your chosen layout to the cargo, environment, equipment and handling process in your industry.
Rack manufacturing starts with load dimensions, weight per level and the building layout. Profiles, connections and finishes are selected against the agreed specification. Geometry, markings and the completeness of the assembly kit are checked before dispatch.
